Privacy Policy

The register must necessarily include information on the location of trees, and the names, addresses and contact details of both nominators and relevant land owners or managers.

Names, addresses and contact details

The names, addresses and contact details of nominators, land owners and managers are used so that submitted information can be verified or updated, permission can be sought for registration, and advice sought on privacy requirements.

All names, addresses and contact details are kept confidential unless specified otherwise by those identified. Only authorised Berry Landcare administrators of the register will have access to this information.

Tree location

Tree location information is used as a basic data-field, and an essential functional element within the register database.

The register has provision for withholding exact locational details from general register users, where this has been requested by a land holder or manager. The location of all listed trees will however be identified at a general level with a nominated town, suburb or area name.

Only authorised Berry Landcare administrators of the register will have access to locational information which has been requested by landowners or managers to be confidential.
